In 1991 Dan Nguluka and his wife Stella along with their two small children moved from Zambia to a remote northern village of Botswana called Seronga. They are Zambian and Dan was commended from an assembly in the copperbelt region. Stella was a teacher and worked in the Botswana school system. A third child was born to them during this time in Seronga.

They laboured for the Lord in the village of Seronga where Dan volunteered in the junior high school teaching religious education. Gospel meetings were held in their house and was instrumental in seeing many young people come to the Lord for salvation. Dan obtained a piece of land with the idea of starting an assembly work in that village. However, the Lord had other plans and Stella was transferred with a new position of head mistress of the junior secondary school to a village just 90 km out of Maun. For several years Dan drove back and forth for his children’s schooling in Maun. Eventually Stella was transferred to Maun.

The Lord continued to use Dan and Stella in seeing souls saved and young believers challenged in their Christian walk to live for the Lord. Dan found it necessary to do a “tent making” ministry as the financial demands of a growing family increased. He poured his energies into gospel work and the assembly and as time went on was asked to join the oversite of Maun Christian Assembly.

Dan has turned down several job offers because they would have taken him away from the assembly in Maun. His heart is in gospel work and seeing the assembly maturing and growing.

Please pray for Dan and Stella, that the Lord would provide for their financial maintenance and that the Lord would bring piece jobs along in Maun so that Dan would be able to support his family. Pray also for him as he labours for the Lord in the work that He has called him to.
